Processing and Shipment

My Locks Journey will process your order within 2-7 business days. Subsequently, we will send the order for shipment. Estimated delivery time is typically within 6-13 business days after the order has been processed; however, My Locks Journey accepts no liability in the unlikely event of any delays. In the event of unexpected delays, you will receive an email with an update on the status of your order.

Missing orders

In the unlikely event that 13 business days after processing have passed, no additional communication from us was received, and your order cannot be found, please contact My Locks Journey via the email listed on our Contact page, with the subject “Missing order”. Please include your order number in this message. You can expect a reply within 5 business days of the receipt of your email. If it is lost due to our error and we cannot find the item via tracking, then we will resend your order free of charge. If the item is lost not due to our error, such as customer input of an incorrect address, no refunds nor other recourse will be facilitated.

Order cancellations

My Locks Journey does not facilitate customer cancellations; you cannot cancel an order once it has been placed. If you change your mind about a purchase, no returns, exchanges or refunds will be granted.

In the rare event that we have to cancel your order, My Locks Journey will issue you a full refund. Please see below for refund processing times and other important information.

Refunds and returns

My Locks Journey has a no-return policy; i.e., we do not facilitate returns. We also do not facilitate exchanges.

We will only process refunds in the unlikely event of damage or defect upon arrival. However, no refunds will be granted if the item is not in its original condition, is damaged, is faulty or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Our refund policy only extends up to 14 days after the date of purchase. If more than 14 days have passed since the date of purchase, we cannot offer you a refund.

In order to request a refund, please contact My Locks Journey via the email listed on our Contact page, with the subject “Refund request”. To be eligible for a refund, we require proof of purchase, and proof of damage/defect. Please include the order number along with photo and/or video proof of damage/defect.

We will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request within 5 business days.

If your refund request is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. You should receive the credit within 7 business days; however processing times may vary.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then, contact your payment institution (ex. your credit card company). Next, contact your bank. Your institution may take some time to officially post your refund.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please reply to the original refund request email detailing your issue. We will then review the issue. If this issue is due to our error, we will work to resolve it and reissue your refund.

Wrong orders

In the unlikely event that you have received the wrong order, My Locks Journey may either correct the order free of charge or issue a refund. This policy extends up to 14 days after the date of purchase. If more than 14 days have passed since the date of purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or correct your order.

We will contact you within 5 business days of the receipt of your email. If we decide to issue a refund, then regular refund terms apply (see above). If we decide to correct your order, then regular processing and shipment terms apply (see above).
