7 Cute Curly Loc Styles

Hi everyone! Curling your hair is one of the easiest ways to create a whole new look. It can turn a basic style into something sophisticated without much effort. Not to mention, you can curl at any loc length, even if you have really short locks. Today, I’m going to share with you some really easy curly locs styles.

1. Curly mohawk

 

After curling your locks, simply divide your hair into 3 or 4 ponytails, positioning them vertically one after the other. The hanging locks will create a curly mohawk.

2. Braidout with side part

A braidout is when you plait your locks and then undo them after awhile, in order to create a curly look. To achieve this curl size, I dampened my locks with my Rose water Revitalizing Spray and then braided them in about 12 sections. Wait until they dry completely before undoing the plaits. Overnight is usually sufficient.

3. Curly loc updo

4. Messy bun with curly side bang

You can never go wrong with a messy bun, and they look even better with curly hair.

5. Loc bun with front twists

6. Tight curls

You can create this look by curling your locs horizontally, ensuring not to separate the curls once done. For more hairstyles specifically for short locs, click here

7. Front ponytail, rest down

This is probably my favourite of the curly locs styles in this post, because it plainly demonstrates the influence that curls can have. It is such a basic style but just adding curls has given it a whole new feeling.
